Will + Elle + Puppy Hugo

March 15, 2013
My neighbors recently brought home a black lab puppy named Hugo. Needless to say I was more than excited to be able to shoot Will and Elle again (some of my favorite little munchkins) but also to be able to shoot the most precious puppy I ever did see? I was more than ecstatic. His little face just makes me melt. It was good too to finally be able to get out of just taking selfies or expansion shots of others but to really get into the fast-pace, quick clicking of capturing two youngins and a 9-week-old pup.

Meeting Sarah Nieman

March 12, 2013

Over my spring break, I got to road trip it up with my boyfriend, William to meet the ever so lovely Sarah Nieman! We adventured around, stopping at a random location on the side of the road, laughing like giddy children and trekking it through the woods. We picked perhaps the worst day of the week; rain all day long. But we made the best out of it. I cannot wait to see her again and go on another (hopefully dry) photo adventure :]

Here's a selfie I took on our way entering into the woods. I fell in love with this bridge.

This is the spot we pulled over for. Wouldn't you? This was way too beautiful to simply pass by. I had Sarah model for me though she did not so much like being cold and rained on :P

I seriously cannot wait to meet up with her again. I'm so happy to have met her, she is such a lovely soul.
Check out her beautiful work here :)

Jane + Richard Pumple's Retirement Party

June 30, 2012

It meant the world to me when my neighbor contacted me about photographing her parents' retirement party. I have known those two all my life and have become family to their own family. They are funny, loving, and caring people. I was so excited to be able to get out there and photograph another event. Though event photography doesn't let me reach my highest potential, I still like it because it's the little moments you capture that mean the world to them. And that, is enough reward in my book.
